Not far from the Morrison's is several restaurants and small take ways which offer a great alternative to cooking. Five Ways has some great open space which students can use during their time at university. These small park-like areas offer a place to gain some fresh air and exercise, which for some students can be hard to come by. If these do not take your fancy, there is always the university grounds which students are welcome to use at free will.
Transport like most of Birmingham is good here. There are a few different bus routes that pass this area, and a walk to each end of this street will help you to find a bus stop. There is however another option. The local train station is a matter on minuets from the front door of this flat and can drop you into Birmingham or to the university campus in no time at all. Train tickets into the town centre will set you back around £2.40 while trains from Five Ways to University station are about £2.30. Students can find cheaper travel however if they invest in student rail cards.
