University of Birmingham Awarded £1.2M Funding for AI and Data Science Scholarships
The University of Birmingham has been awarded £1.2 million by the Office for Students (OfS) to fund up to 120 master’s scholarships. These scholarships are worth £10,000 each and are being offered for the 2023-24 academic year.
Students can study a range of courses across England covering topics such as practical AI and data science skills, coding, programming, machine learning, health data science and AI ethics.Read More
Sainsbury's Launches Nectar Card Change to Rival Tesco's Clubcard Scheme
Sainsbury's has announced a major revamp to its Nectar card scheme in a bid to take on its rival, Tesco Clubcard.
The store has revealed that customers will now be able to take advantage of brand discounts in addition to the usual points collection system. The new scheme will offer customers lower prices on selected items, as well as the ability to collect Nectar points in the usual way.Read More
Joint Venture Acquires Former Sainsbury's Site in Selly Oak
The site has been acquired in an undisclosed deal by Galliard Apsley Partnership, a joint venture between Galliard Homes and Apsley House Capital.
The new owners are now preparing plans for the land which covers 3.4 acres and comprises the former Sainsbury's unit, car park and servicing facilities.
