Finding Women-Only Student Accommodation: How Unihousing Can Help

One of the struggles of finding accommodation is when you have more specific preferences, such as women-only accommodation. While we can’t make a property single-sex or place restrictions on the sexes within a property, grouping those with similar preferences means we are likely to place you in a house or studio block with tenants of the same sex. Although we can’t guarantee that all your preferences will be met, we will do as much as we can.

Shared Houses

One way you can easily have control over who you live with, is by sharing a student house. House shares are great for students who are wanting to experience communal living, whilst also having the opportunity to choose who they want to live with.

Our shared houses offer a good mix of privacy with communal living, meaning that you can have as much alone time as you need in your own private bedroom, but you also have a good-sized lounge and fully fitted kitchen (even a patio at times!), which allows you to spend time with your housemates. Another way that you can have more control of your living situation, is by sharing a twodio with a friend. Many of our studios will have a shared kitchen between two studios, which you could rent out with a friend, and have more control over who you are sharing your space with. A twodio will not only give you plenty of privacy and independence, but will also provide opportunities to spend time with your next-door neighbour!

All of our studio spaces consist of an open-plan living space with all of the necessities, including a large double bed, desk space, private food prep area and ensuite bathroom. 100Mb broadband is also included in the price of rent, along with a flat screen TV and low noise white goods.
